Assessment and control of risk
As part of our continuous efforts towards assessment and control of risk, we have many policies and procedures in place. We abide by all HSE regulations and carry out tree work in accordance with the recommendations contained in British standards 3998: 1989, 'Recommendations for tree work'. Staff are fully trained in the use of arboricultural equipment in accordance with HSE regulations (AFAG guidelines)

PPE is used in relation to the protection of relevant body parts including face, eyes and head, in accordance with HSE regulations

Trees will be accessed by rope and harness in accordance with HSE and AFAG guidelines
To protect against falling brushwood or timber, full communication will be maintained between the grounds man and climber.
Site control is maintained by inspecting all equipment, such as chainsaws, ropes and harnesses before the commencement of work. Other measures include implementation of signage, undertaking customer awareness measures and following safe waste removal procedures.
